Electrostatic Painting is based on a basic law of electricity; opposites attract.

Here's how it works:

The article to be painted is given a negative charge via connection to ground.  The electrostatic paint is given a positive charge and atomized through a special round revolving bell.  Instead of being sprayed on, the paint is actually plated on!

Result: the object attracts the paint droplets just as a magnet attracts iron filings.

The electrostatic force is so powerful that it can actually pull paint around corners.  It wraps paint around the object to give a smooth even coat.  Most important, there is no over-spray, no fogging or drift, no blast  through as with conventional spray guns.  It is amazing, neat and clean.

This process usually takes place in carpeted offices or other areas in which contamination must be kept to a minimum.  Due to the high transfer efficiency (99%) of the #2 Process  Electrostatic Equipment, this is a "clean" painting process.  There is virtually   NO OVER-SPRAY.
